The Uplift Spherical Bearing consists of a pair of matching concave and convex steel spherical backing plates with a low friction sliding interface in between thereby permitting rotation by in-curve sliding. Uplift restraint bearings are specially designed to restraint uplift forces in the structure. For the purpose of resisting uplift forces, the bearings may be combined with stopeers, bolts & cover plates. For the purpose of providing the movement ability, the bearings may be combined with flat sliding elements, guides and restraining rings.
Spherical Uplift Free sliding bearing:
- Bears Vertical Load, Horizontal Load & Uplift load
- Allows sliding movement in all directions.
- Allows Rotation in all direction.
Spherical Uplift Guided bearing:
- Bears Vertical Load, Horizontal Load & Uplift load.
- Allows sliding movement in one direction.
- Allows Rotation in all direction.
Spherical Uplift Fixed bearing:
- Bears Vertical Load, Horizontal Load & Uplift load
- Allows Rotation in all direction.
